Aksaray University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering was established in 1993 under Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University and has 30 years of experience. In 2006, with the establishment of Aksaray University, it was included in Aksaray University Faculty of Engineering and has been providing qualified undergraduate, graduate and doctorate education for years with its strong and well-equipped academic staff. There are 1st and 2nd education programs in the department and there are 193 undergraduate students in total. In graduate education, master's and doctoral programs with thesis are active and there are 91 master's and 10 doctoral students currently studying in these programs.Unlike other Civil Engineering Departments in other universities, students who want to work in our department can work for a fee in the 4th grade in the companies that our department has contracted without coming to school, students who participate in this program, called Joint Education, can easily find a job after graduating from school because they gain work experience. In addition, the diplomas of our students gain international validity with the documents given as diploma supplements Blue Diploma.
